Stop CO2 escaping from
your vats of wine, sell it for €80 to €100/ton!

"Starting this harvest, winegrowers will be able to sell the CO₂ rejected during fermentation for between €80 and €100 per tonne on a dedicated platform. Initially reserved for Bordeaux, it will be open to all wine-growing regions by 2025. This year, winegrowers will be able to make money from the carbon dioxide released during fermentation. They'll have to sell it on the "CO₂ Bio" platform launched on August 19 by Bordeaux start-up W Platform in partnership with the Conseil interprofessionnel du vin de Bordeaux (CIVB).

Initially reserved for the people of Gironde, CO₂ Bio will be rolled out nationwide during 2025.... "
