CO2 Winery one of the winners of the NA20 Impact Award

"On the occasion of French Tech Day, Bordeaux start-up CO2 Winery, born in 2021 and specializing in the recovery and valorization of fermentary CO2, is the winner of the "Impact NA20" 2023 prize, which rewarded 20 start-ups from all over the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

The recovered CO2 is purified and then compressed for reuse in the production process, thus avoiding the need for winegrowers to purchase CO2 of fossil origin transported over hundreds of kilometers. It can also be injected into the winery's water supply network to reduce water consumption by 30 to 50 %, says the company... "
